Even in existing frames, the glass you choose can make a big difference. For an upgrade you may not be able to 'see' but will definitely feel we can install A Rated sealed units in your existing frames by using a combination of a low emissivity glass like Planitherm with a special coating to stop heat escaping, using an insulating gas like Argon to fill the cavity between the 2 panes and using low-conductivity, non-metallic materials like plastics for the internal glazing bar, which offers superior insulation and prevents heat loss around the perimeter of the window.

Glass will typically make up 70% of your window, and it's at the heart of controlling the flow of natural light, the level of safety and security, and of heat retention. It can even help protect furniture against fading.
