10 Year Sealed Unit Guarantee
Guarantee T&C’s Sealed units 10 Years ;
1. This is a non insurance backed guarantee which is self funded by REGLAZEREPAIR.COM LTD (Company number 16162849) 2. This Guarantee covers glass double glazing units (Sealed Units) which have been supplied and installed within the United Kingdom by REGLAZEREPAIR.COM LTD 3. Subject to the other terms of this Guarantee and payment being received in full, the Guarantor undertakes to replace (including installation) free of charge any defective Unit supplied and installed by reglazerepair.com ltd with which this Guarantee has been o ered provided that the defect is notified in writing (by emailing hello@reglazerepair.com) to the Guarantor within a period of 10 years from the date of installation with original receipt. Any guarantee is invalid without the customer providing a valid receipt. Please keep all paperwork/receipts relating to your glazing repairs for the full guarantee period. 4. This Guarantee covers only the glass in any Unit and does not cover any hardware supplied with or attached to any unit (such as handles, locks, fixings etc). 5. This Guarantee covers any defects in glass materials with the exceptions stated below: a. Damage occurring by way of natural disasters; b. Theft of a Unit; c. Vandalisation/criminal activity in relation to a Unit; d. Any occurrence of thermal or structural stress; e. Accidental damage; f. Fair wear and tear; g. Damage caused or made worse by any misuse of the Unit or failure to maintain the Unit in accordance with any recommendations provided or made available by reglazerepair.com ltd at or around the time of installation; h. Minor cosmetic issues such as fading of colour. i. Cracks in the glass unless within 24hours of fitting. 6. All installation works shall be carried out by such person as is nominated by the Guarantor. Replacement of the Unit is conditional upon you providing such access as is reasonably required at a reasonable time to undertake such replacement. 7. The Guarantor will use reasonable endeavours to match any replacement to the relevant Unit as nearly as possible however an exact replacement may not be possible, for example where a Unit is no longer produced or available on commercially reasonable terms. The Guarantor reserves the right to repair or replace or use new or refurbished replacement units, at the Guarantor’s discretion. 8. Glass used in Units may have minor imperfections. The Guarantor shall not be obliged to replace any such glass that would not be covered by warranty of the glass manufacturer. In the event of a dispute, the standards of blemish acceptability as laid down by the Glass and Glazing Federation shall be used. Modern coated energy e cient glass can produce a haze. Haze is an optical phenomenon which makes the glass look like it is covered in a very fine, uniform, layer of dust when viewed from an oblique angle or viewed under strong light. This should not be considered a fault. 9. You may not transfer this Guarantee to any person. This Guarantee is personal to you the customer. 10. The guarantee is given in addition to and not in substitution for the Customer’s rights under common law and statute. 11. The Company (reglazerepair.com ltd) shall be under no liability if the defect or failure, in the reasonable opinion of the Company or Company representative, arises from fair wear and tear, wilful damage, misuse, negligence by the Customer or any third party, failure to follow the instructions of the Company, or alteration or repair of the DGU without prior approval of the Company.

This Guarantee covers upvc window and door handles, upvc window hinges, upvc door and window locking mechanisms which have been supplied and installed within the United Kingdom by REGLAZEREPAIR.COM LTD 3. Subject to the other terms of this Guarantee and payment being received in full, the Guarantor undertakes to replace (including installation) free of charge any defective component supplied and installed by reglazerepair.com ltd with which this Guarantee has been o ered provided that the defect is notified in writing( by emailing hello@reglazerepair.com) to the Guarantor within a period of 1 year from the date of installation with original receipt. Any guarantee is invalid without the customer providing a valid receipt. Please keep all paperwork/receipts relating to your glazing repairs for the full guarantee period. 4. This Guarantee covers only the part supplied and fitted by reglazerepair.com ltd and does not cover any hardware attached to this part (such as handles, locks, fixings etc). 5. This Guarantee covers any failure in operation with the exceptions stated below: a. Damage occurring by way of natural disasters; b. Theft; c. Vandalisation/criminal activity; d. Any occurrence of thermal or structural stress; e. Accidental damage; f. Fair wear and tear including pitting, marks or other cosmetic issue to the finish, g. Damage caused or made worse by any misuse of the component or failure to maintain the component in accordance with any recommendations provided or made available by reglazerepair.com ltd at or around the time of installation; h. Minor cosmetic issues such as fading of colour. 6. All installation works shall be carried out by such person as is nominated by the Guarantor. Replacement of the component is conditional upon you providing such access as is reasonably required at a reasonable time to undertake such replacement. 7. The Guarantor will use reasonable endeavours to match any replacement to the relevant part as nearly as possible however an exact replacement may not be possible, for example where a part or design is no longer produced or available on commercially reasonable terms. The Guarantor reserves the right to repair or replace or use new or refurbished replacement parts, at the Guarantor’s discretion. 8. Finished components may have minor imperfections. The Guarantor shall not be obliged to replace any such component that would not be covered by warranty of the component’s manufacturer. 9. You may not transfer this Guarantee to any person. This Guarantee is personal to you the customer. 10. The guarantee is given in addition to and not in substitution for the Customer’s rights under common law and statute. 11. The Company (reglazerepair.com ltd) shall be under no liability if the defect or failure, in the reasonable opinion of the Company or Company representative, arises from fair wear and tear, wilful damage, misuse, negligence by the Customer or any third party, failure to follow the instructions of the Company, or alteration or repair of the window/door without prior approval of the Company.
